Designed for students interested in a career in nursing. Completion of the program is required for entrance into the Associate Degree Nursing program and the Vocational Nursing program and confers eligibility to take the State Nursing Assistant Certification exam. Hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare settings employ CNAs.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

• Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to accurately articulate patient findings to the licensed personnel.
• Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to identify basic patient needs and discuss their findings with other healthcare personnel to assist in creating better patient outcomes.
