Transfer Preparation (Major Code: 02544)
Completing the music major core is the first step towards transferring or an Associates Degree in Music. Upon completion, students will be eligible for teaching beginning music lessons or music tutoring.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Student will be able to perform a notated melody on their main instrument/voice observing correct rhythms and pitches.
- Student will perform with a group of people while listening and blending with their peers.
Gainful Employment
The U.S. Department of Education requires colleges to disclose a variety of information for any financial aid eligible program that “prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.”
Students who complete this program will have acquired the necessary analytical tools to successfully secure gainful employment in the field of study.
