This certificate introduces the foundational concepts of distribution and fulfillment centers. Upon completion of this certificate students will be certified in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Lean 6 Sigma white/yellow belt and have the ability to implement its methodologies, and common principles to effectively manage lean distribution and fulfillment operations.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Student will be able to access and discuss the technological advances that drive global supply chains, impact cross cultural boundaries, and environmental forces.
- Student will assess and discuss the value of an Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) software system and apply it to the management of the flow of goods, information, funds and people in global supply chains.
- Students will employ logistics operations research, technology tools, to identify operational problems and execute 6 Sigma principles and methodologies to manage an efficient fulfillment center.

With an additional three courses, students can earn a Logistics Data Analyst Certificate of Achievement. Thus positioning them with the latest technology software skills for a career in logistics or towards a four-year transfer degree.
