Prepares students to transfer to BA or BFA technical theatre programs at four-year institutions. Prepares students for entry-level technical positions in the professional performance arena in the fields of set design, building, lighting design, front of house and technical crewing.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Certificate recipients will read and interpret technical theatre drawings and build scenery as specified.
- Certificate recipients will hang and focus lighting instruments in a professional setting.
- Certificate recipients will demonstrate a reliable and responsible work ethic as a team member in a professional setting.
