PLAY ANALYSIS FOR PERFORMANCE, PRODUCTION, AND APPRECIATION

Introduces and explores an extensive methodology of reading and understanding play scripts from a variety of genres and styles so as to encourage appreciation and enjoyment of dramatic literature. Investigates a play's structure using analytical techniques to determine the tools with which playwright creates dramatic art: plot, character, language, and imagery.
