This certificate of proficiency prepares students to start their own business as nannies (professionals who provide care in the home of their clients), postpartum doulas (professionals who support parent(s) and infants subsequent to birth in their clients homes), or promotoras (professionals who support children and families through community outreach and education). The certificate contains a common set of core courses to be completed by all students and specialized coursework for the career pathway.
