HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CPR

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER

Serves as the first course in the track for students interested in a career in emergency medical services. Covers national curriculum for Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN-BASIC

WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER

Provides curriculum consistent with U.S. Department of Transportation first responder guidelines. Emphasizes medical care of the sick and injured while operating in extreme environments, using improvised equipment and managing delayed or prolonged evacuations. AMBULANCE STRIKE TEAM LEADER CERTIFICATION

Limitation on Enrollment: Recommendation of current employer and either (1) Ambulance Strike Team Provider online course (Allan Hancock College) OR (2) Incident Command Systems (ICS) 100 AND ICS 200, and a State-approved strike team program (eight-hour course).
