Prepares students for future coursework in the Allied Health fields, as well as for workplace situations in which mathematics and/or quantitative reasoning is used. Focuses on addressing underlying issues that hold students back from experiencing success in their studies and use of mathematics - namely anxiety and fear around mathematics, effective study skills and learning strategies specific to learning mathematics, and fluency with specific mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills utilized in the Allied Health fields.
