The Outreach Office provides information about college programs, available services, and enrollment procedures and costs. Services include providing potential students with specific admissions, placement, orientation, and registration information.

In addition, Outreach offers an Early Admission Program (EAP) for all interested high school seniors and first-time college students. Those who complete the Early Admissions steps by the deadline in Mid-May receive priority registration for the fall semester. Outreach peer ambassadors are available at each Sweetwater Union High School District high school, partner charter schools, and SUHSD adult schools. Peer Ambassadors are also available at Southwestern College to help first-time students with college applications and general questions.

Outreach activities include conducting SWC general presentations, financial aid nights, campus tours, college fairs, career fairs, early Outreach, and community events.
