Health Services

Phone: (619) 482-6354

Health Services is located in room 62A-106 at the Jaguar Village and open Monday through Friday. The hours vary during the week at the Higher Education Centers at National City, Otay Mesa, and San Ysidro.  Health Services is staffed with Registered Nurses and a College physician (available once a week during the fall and spring semesters).  Health Services provides first aid care and health education.  Most services are free of cost:  doctor visits, body fat calculations, over-the-counter medications, various health screenings.  Fees are charged for some services such as blood testing, immunizations, and TB testing.  All students (day, evening, and online) who are currently enrolled in classes and pay the health fee are eligible for services, and are also covered by an insurance policy which applies to accidents in college-sponsored and supervised activities. This does not apply to students enrolled in non-credit or fee-based courses.
