Prepares student for entry level positions as international logistics specialists within the logistics and supply chain industry. Employment may be with corporations, logistics companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers or with the U.S. government. This particular program represents the international and cross-border aspect of Logistics.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  • Student will organize a logistics plan to transport products across the state, across the country, and to a different continent given a variety of parameters including import/export fees, timelines and legal issues.
  • Student will communicate collegially and effectively with logistics professionals in other parts of the world to resolve logistics and transportation issues in the delivery of a variety of goods.

Gainful Employment

The U.S. Department of Education requires colleges to disclose a variety of information for any financial aid eligible program that “prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.”

Students who complete this program will have acquired the necessary analytical tools to successfully secure gainful employment in the field of study.
